An unspoilt wilderness

Seven Spirit Bay is an iconic Northern Territory wilderness lodge and one of the first luxury lodges in the outback. Built in 1990 by a consortium of investors, the lodge has had various owners over the years and in 2015 was acquired by Outback Spirit, Australia’s leading small group tour company. A major redevelopment was then commissioned, transforming the lodge into one of the finest wilderness retreats in northern Australia.

The Location

Seven Spirit Bay is located on the Cobourg Peninsula in the Garig Gunak Barlu National Park. Overlooking a pristine bay within Port Essington, the lodge enjoys an enviable coastal location, surrounded by natural bush, coral reefs and rocky red cliffs. It is only accessible by boat or via the lodge’s private airstrip.
